The Study On The Relationship Between The Ecological System And Resilience Of Migrant Children

With the increasingly rapid urbanization,a large amount of labor forces in rural have migrated to urban,accompanied by tens of millions migrant children settling in the cities.Compared with general children in cities,migrant children are faced with more risks and challenges,even bringing about more questions in mental and behavior which may lead to poor social adaptation.With the rapid scale expansion of migrant children,pioneers in academia begin to research the resilience of migrant children.The research object of this study is the migrant children living in cities and going to primary school specially for migrant workers.The research questions include:(1)how about the basic situation of the migrant child's ecological system?(2)how about the level of migrant child's resilience?(3)What's the relationship between their ecosystem and resilience of migrant children?The research significance of this research is exploring the relationship between their ecosystem and resilience of migrant children and then providing practice advice to promote the resilience of migrant children.First of all,this study summarize the core conceptions of this research,including migrant children,resilience,ecosystem theory etc.It has discussed the current status of the research and main research fields about migrant children,and explain the definition of resilience,the resiliency process model,the influencing factors of resilience,the measurement of resilience and domestic research status in details.At the same time,ecosystem theory has laid the foundation for the influencing factors of resilience,and provided a theoretical basis for the interventional therapy of social work.Established in this new perspective of the relations between ecosystem and resilience of migrant children,based on the database of a questionnaire survey of 567 students and 14 in-depth interview materials in primary school specifically for migrant workers,this study tried to verify the three hypotheses proposed by the paper using the methods of quantitative and qualitative research.In addition,the researcher comply the research ethics in the process of data collection and analysis.The study found that all three factors in migrant children ecosystem,family,community and school,have certain influences on the child's sense of optimism,competence and belonging,with which the children build up resilience.We have confirmed that the resilience is positively related to the factors of family and school.In home,the better atmosphere,relationship and treatment the families provide,the stronger sense of optimism,competence and belonging the children will have.Likely to school,the stronger sense of optimism,competence and belonging the children will have when duties assigned or being close to teachers.Due to the single sample selection,This study does not verify the positive correlation between the community factors and resilience.Finally,this study has put forward the intervention of social work practice model to promote the resilience of migrant children,including the practice intervention based on family,school and community,and construct a family,school,community three-in-one resilience enhancing model of migrant children.In the end,this research has put forward the research innovation and research limitation which will provide references for future study.
