At present, national identity has become an important psychological mechanism for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The development of the Internet and the flow of capital have brought about multiple cultures and values, impacting the national identity of the public. The number of online mass incidents in recent years shows that the Internet has already Become an important channel for the public to access political information and express political tendencies. However, the value concept that became mainstream on the Internet is not the same as the national identity concept cultivated by mainstream media,or even opposites. Therefore, the issues of media contact and national identity deserve attention..From the previous research, scholars' research on media contact and national identity mainly takes official media as the object, mostly theoretical elaboration,or introduces variables for related analysis.Few have considered the official media and unofficial media under the two public opinion fields.Significant differences.Based on this, this study uses 2017 Internet Users' Social Awareness Survey data to establish a structural equation from the perspective of the audience, using media contact and national identity as the main variables, and introducing media trust as an intermediary variable.Investigate how official and unofficial media affect national identity. This study found that the relationship between media contact and national identity is significant.Specifically, official media contact is positively correlated with the perception of national identity, and both central media trust and government media trust can play a positive role between official media contact and national identity, this confirms the value of the new mainstream media in the construction of national identity. The correlation between non-official media contact behavior and national identity perception is not exactly the same.Foreign Media Trust and Interpersonal Circle Trust can play a negative intermediary role between official media contact and national identity. In addition, social media trust can not play an intermediary role in unofficial media contact and national identity, which to some extent shows that "two public opinion fields" phenomenon still exists; However, the trust of commercial websites plays a "moderating" role in the negative influence of unofficial media on national identity, which also reflects the heterogeneity of media effect.
