Research On The Impact Of Public Service Satisfaction On Residents’ Sense Of Social Justice

Recently,hot issues such as stars’ sky-high remuneration and housing prices have aroused public discontent.Therefore,we cannot help but ask:with the continuous development of China’s economy and politics,is Chinese society becoming more and more fair?At the same time,from the perspective of social equity,will the improvement of government’s satisfaction with public services affect residents’ sense of social equity?Does the higher level of the government’s public service capacity mean that the government’ s ability to solve social equity issues is also improved?Therefore,it is urgent to study residents1 satisfaction with public services and their sense of social justice.Based on this,the author analyzes the residents1 satisfaction of public service and social fairness theory as the foundation,put forward in this paper,the research hypothesis,based on CGSS database to carry on the empirical analysis,such as hierarchical regression model,the OLS regression,multiple linear regression and Logistic regression analysis.The main conclusions are as follows:firstly,Chinese residents’ satisfaction with public services and their sense of social justice are generally satisfactory.Moreover,there is a big difference between urban and rural residents’ satisfaction with public services and their sense of social justice.Secondly,among individual attributes,individual gender,education level,physical health level,household registration and economic status all have an impact on residents’ sense of social justice.Finally,the empirical results show that residents’ satisfaction with public services has a significant positive impact on their sense of social justice,that is,we can improve residents’ satisfaction with public services to promote their sense of social justice.Based on the research conclusions of this paper,the following policy Suggestions are put forward to improve the sense of social justice.Improve the performance appraisal system of government public service,link public service with government performance appraisal;Deepening the construction of "Internet+government services";Strengthen the publicity of public service information;Give full play to social force to enlarge supply channel to wait actively.
