Research On Public Participation Mechanism In The Construction Of Civilized Cities

The national civilized city is a city with a high level of civilization and overall quality of citizens in the overall construction of a well-off society,which is an honorary title reflecting the overall level of urban civilization in mainland China.Practice has proved that the establishment of a national civilized city needs the participation of the public.Only by ensuring the active participation of the public can we improve the intelligence of the government,improve public relations,and help the city obtain the honorary title of national civilized city.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the mechanism of public participation in the construction of civilized cities.The importance of public participation in the construction of civilized city is self-evident.M city actively participated in the establishment of national civilized city,trid to take the public as the leading role,and through continuous practice and exploration,obtained certain experience and results,but there are still deficiencies,obstacles in the communication between the government and the public,and the subjectivity of public participation,affecting the establishment of M City civilized city.How to realize the public participation in the construction of civilized city is still uncertain.Based on this,this paper takes the two factor theory,ERG theory and stakeholder theory as the guidance,and M city as an example to explore the mechanism of public participation in the construction of civilized city.First of all,this paper expounds the relevant contents of public participation and civilized city construction in theory,and expounds the types and characteristics of public participation in civilized city construction.Secondly,this paper combs the relevant literature about the establishment of civilized cities and public participation,puts forward the relationship between them,and puts forward the research direction of this paper on the basis of literature review.Thirdly,this paper takes mm city as an example to study the current situation of public participation,the problems of public participation and the reasons for the problems.Finally,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures to enhance the public participation in the construction of M civilized city,discusses the results of this study,and points out the lack of this study and future suggestions.
