Township civil servants are the national staff directly serving the broad masses of the people.To a large extent,they represent the image of the Chinese government.An efficient,honest,enterprising and innovative team of township civil servants can better carry out the central policy and make the people feel the development and prosperity of the country.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Party,the central government has also strengthened the management of township civil servants,while the work tasks of township civil servants have been continuously strengthened,there has been no corresponding improvement in related treatment,resulting in some job burnout.In this context,it is particularly necessary to develop an effective incentive mechanism to stimulate the enthusiasm of township civil servants.Moreover,one of the reasons for the lack of effectiveness of the incentive mechanism for township civil servants in China is that the interests of township civil servants are not examined from the perspective of differentiation,the salary structure is unreasonable,and the promotion space is small.This is a problem that should be considered in the formulation of the incentive mechanism for township civil servants.Based on the analysis of all kinds of classical incentive theory,this paper makes a comprehensive investigation on the status of incentive mechanism of township civil servants in Q city,combining with questionnaire survey and interview.At the same time,it refers to the incentive mechanism for township civil servants in the United Kingdom,the United States,and Japan.From strengthening care for township civil servants,establishing a reasonable compensation system,formulating a standardized scientific reward and punishment mechanism,and improving an accurate assessment mechanism.The five aspects of improving the smooth promotion mechanism have formulated measures to optimize the incentive mechanism for township civil servants in order to increase the enthusiasm of township civil servants,reduce job burnout,and create a new situation of win-win results.
