In China,the work of "agriculture,rural areas and farmers" is the top priority of the national work.Under the background of the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,science popularization is closely related to rural development in China.Popular science is to provide scientific knowledge to the public and to enhance the scientific spirit of the public.At present,there are the following problems in rural science popularization in China,that is,the cultural quality of popular science information dissemination subjects is not high,and the science popularization team is not perfect;the villagers' cultural level is not high,and the ability to receive information is limited;the accuracy and popularity of popular science popularization content are insufficient;The communication channel is single.It is based on this situation that China has established a policy for university student village cadres.College student village cadre policy College student cadres are China's unique talent policy,which has increased vitality and motivation for grassroots governance in rural areas of China.College student village cadres and ordinary village cadres jointly shoulder the heavy responsibility of disseminating information on rural science popularization in China.Under the background of poverty alleviation,it is necessary to explore the status quo and effects of village cadres and their popular science information dissemination at different educational levels,to achieve poverty alleviation through science and technology and poverty alleviation in science and technology.Based on the perspective of innovation diffusion,this study studies the educational level of village cadres and the effect of popular science information dissemination,focusing on the identity of communicators in popular science information dissemination.In this study,a questionnaire survey method and an in-depth interview method were used to select representative villages in Sitong Town and Lincai Town of Huaiyang County with different levels of economic development as research sites.Selecting the village of Sitong Town with a good economic level,the village of the H village and the ordinary village cadre of the university student village cadre;the Linjia Town with poor economic level,the D village and the ordinary village cadre of the university student village cadre M village.The survey obtained the active awareness and media of the villagers' acceptance of information,and learned the channels and methods of rural popular science information dissemination among village cadres of different educational levels,and investigated the market-related information,technical information,policy information and information popularized by villagers on village cadres.Recognition of attitudes,attitudes,and behaviors of life-like information.Through field surveys,331 questionnaires and interviews were obtained,and the cultural level of village cadres was related to the dissemination effect of rural popular science information.The effect of science and technology information of college cadres was better than that of ordinary village cadres.In terms of dissemination content,the information content disseminated by university student village cadres is more in line with the needs of villagers than ordinary village cadres,and the information provided is more comprehensive,and more focused on technical information and market information with strong professional requirements;The university student village cadres are more diverse than the ordinary village cadres.The university student village cadres take the initiative to integrate with the times and cater to the habits of the villagers to receive information from the new media.In terms of communication effects,the dissemination effect of university student village cadres is better than ordinary village cadres,especially In the market information and policy information,the villagers are willing to accept the information and change their attitudes and behaviors.However,there are communication barriers between college cadres and villagers,that is,the professional discourse expression of popular science information,and the formation of heterogeneous communication with the villagers,making it difficult for villagers to understand.
