Research On Social Adaptation Of Empty Nest Elderly In Rural Areas

In the report of the Nineteenth National Congress,safeguarding and improving people's livelihood is regarded as a major strategic layout that the Party and the state need to persevere in implementing.In this context,the voice for the protection of vulnerable groups has become increasingly strong.Secretary-General Xi has also emphasized the handling of the "386199" troop issue on many occasions,namely,"left-behind women","left-behind children" and "empty nests".With the increasingly prominent aging problem in China,empty nesters have become a new social problem and an important research focus,which is more intense in rural areas.With the increase of age,the physiological function of empty nesters declines gradually,the dependence on others' help becomes higher and higher,the psychological vulnerability becomes more and more serious,and the solution of social problems of empty nesters is also increasingly urgent.The problem of empty nesters is not only a simple individual problem,but also a social proposition that needs to be solved urgently in our country.Anhui Province is a large province with a large population of elderly people.Its age type has assumed the structure of "old age type",and it has entered the aging society two years earlier than the whole country.At the same time,Anhui Province,as a major labor export province,has a large proportion of young and middle-aged migrant workers.The phenomenon of empty nests in rural areas is more severe and representative.Taking empty nests in rural areas of Anhui Province as the research object,we can better understand and grasp the social adaptation of empty nests in typical rural areas of China.In view of this,in the first part,this paper first introduces the policy background and important significance of empty nesters research,and combs and reviews the relevant research literature of empty nesters at home and abroad,in order to grasp the research value of empty nesters,analyze the policy orientation of empty nesters and understand the research status of empty nesters;In the second part,this paper defines and introduces the related research concepts and important theories of empty nests,laying the theoretical foundation for further research;In the third part,taking the rural areas of Taihu County in Anhui Province as the sampling point,through questionnaire collection and directional interviews,the data survey,data collection and problem analysis of the social adaptation status of empty nests in rural areas of Taihu County in Anhui Province were conducted to understand the social adaptation level of empty-nest elderly in target areas;In the fourth and fifth parts,the main problems faced by empty nesters in the process of social adaptation are summarized,and the successful experience and enlightenment are summarized by fully drawing lessons from the social adaptation model of empty nesters in typical areas of China.In the sixth part,on the basis of summarizing the existing problems of the social adaptation of empty nests in rural areas,the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the social adaptation of empty nests are put forward,as well as the prospect of the final research conclusions.By studying the path of improving the social adaptation level of empty nesters,this paper provides the necessary data reference and theoretical support for the government in dealing with livelihood issues such as empty nesters.
