A Study On The Old-age Pension Of Empty Nest Old People In Ruicheng County And Its Countermeasures

With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization in China,a large number of young and middle-aged rural labor force has been transferred from remote and backward rural areas to prosperous metropolis,resulting in many elderly people in rural areas have become empty nesters.Coupled with the backward economic development in rural areas,the weakening of the traditional family pension function and the imperfect social security system,the pension problem of empty nesters in rural areas is particularly prominent.Ruicheng County,as a small county which mainly develops agriculture and lags behind in economic development,has a very large population outflow.Many villages are even basically left-behind children and the elderly,and are also facing a very serious pension problem for empty nesters.This paper chooses six natural villages in Ruicheng County as research sites,and sends out 226 valid questionnaires.Through the form of questionnaires,the data obtained are collated and analyzed by the method of quantitative research,so as to have a clear and clear understanding of the present situation of the rural empty nesters’ pension in Ruicheng County,and find out the existing problems of the rural empty nesters’ pension.Question.On this basis,by drawing lessons from the relevant research results of domestic and foreign scholars in rural empty-nest elderly care and the actual development of the local situation,this paper analyzed the deep-seated causes of the problem of rural empty-nest elderly care,and put forward its own countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problem of local rural empty-nest elderly care:establish self-awareness of the elderly,improve family support.Old-age security capacity,play the leading role of the government,strengthen the role of economic leverage,broaden the channels of rural pension funds,build professional rural pension team,further promote the construction of rural pension service system,establish a comprehensive supervision and management system to ensure the healthy development of pension undertakings.
