The Study Of The Rural Empty-nesters Elderly’s Social Adaptation

China has entered the aging society era. The long-term development of China’surban-rural dual structure has always existed, leading to a large number of young ruralmigrant labor.Some rural families become empty nesters, and these families has beenturned into rural elderly empty nesters.This change makes a big difference than theprevious lives of the elderly.Through studying the groups of social adaptation, to exploreits old age social adaptation rule.And trying to make reasonable comments and suggestions,in order to improve their old age social adaptation helpful.Present study has practical valueand theoretical value of two aspects. Practical value aspects: to help solve the socialadjustment problems of rural empty nesters.Theoretical value areas: Help to enrich thetheoretical study.Currently, the rural social adaptation empty nesters has attracted the attention of somescholars, and they also carry out analysis for a variety of angles.Main points are:intergenerational mutual construction, re-socialization programs, family support networktheory, community education, and so on.Based on previous studies, the paper combinessome theories as Family life cycle theory, Elderly loss theory, Social symbiosis theory,People’s hierarchy of needs, Social capital theory, Social support theory, Community CareTheory and so on. These theories focus on the social adaptation of the elderly from theirown unique perspective,and this paper aims to construct a theoretical system of ruralempty nesters social adaptation. Paper uses literature research, survey research, theoreticalapproach, software analysis, etc.And we have made a analysis of empirical investigation ofthese factors.At last, we found nine main factors that regard, as Physical health, Psychologicaldemand conditions, Life ideal situation, Economic balance of payments, Status of relativesand friends, Inter-generational dependency status, Life care situation, Interpersonalsituation, Medical and health conditions.In this regard, this paper present a comprehensiveresearch, to make reasonable comments and suggestions.
