In recent years, the trend of population aging in China has become increasingly obvious, and the degree of aging has become increasingly serious. With the development of modernization and urbanization,a large number of young and middle-aged people in rural areas have entered the city to work. The number of empty nests in rural areas has risen sharply. The aging problem in rural areas has obviously surpassed that in urban areas. The traditional family supporting model has been unable to cope with the growing number of rural aging groups,so it is urgent to transform into social providing model.Under this realistic background,a new mutual-support mode which adapts to the current situation in rural areas has been gradually concerned by the government and vigorously promoted. The innovation of this study is that this paper not only studies the emergence, organization and management of the mutual nursing home, but also studies the mutual-support behavior of the elderly in the mutual nursing home under the theory of active aging. It is considered that the mutual-support mode is an active performance to cope with the aging, which can help the elderly to achieve security in agedness.Based on the on-the-spot investigation, this paper chooses the first batch of pilot villages in Jining City of Shandong Province as the investigation object.Firstly, this paper explores and describes the development background and the present situation of the elderly in D village, analyzes the reasons for implementing the mutual-support mode and the difficulties faced by the village in providing for the elderly.Secondly, this paper investigates and analyzes the present situation of D village mutual nursing home, mainly from the following two aspects. On the one hand,we can recognize the carrier of the mutual-support mode which is the basic situation of mutual assistance nursing home.On the other hand, from the perspective of positive aging, this paper analyzes the mutual-support behavior of the elderly in the mutual nursing home, and it is believed that the mutual-support mode promotes the health and participation of the elderly in the D village which provides the guarantee for the life of the elderly. At the same time,it is found that there are some problems in the development of the the mutual-support mode in D village,so on the basis of combining the present situation of the facilities in the mutual nursing home and the behavior of mutual aid among the elderly, this paper points out that there are some problems in the mutual nursing home. The responsibility is not clear and the orientation is ambiguous;the behavior of mutual assistance is one-sided and the content of mutual assistance is unattractive;the infrastructure is weak, the supply of mutual service and activity facilities is insufficient;the participation of social forces is insufficient and the acceptance group is limited.Thirdly, this paper makes an analysis of the better mutual-support mode at home and abroad, and puts forward some experiences for reference. It is considered that the rural mutual-support mode can make up for the defects of this model by drawing lessons from domestic "mutual welfare homes" and foreign "time banks".Finally, according to the actual situation of the development of D village, the theory of social support and the better demonstration of mutual support at home and abroad, the sustainable development strategy of perfecting the mutual-support mode is put forward. The sustainable development of the rural mutual-support mode must be integrated into the local environment according to the actual situation. While drawing lessons from the better forms of mutual support at home and abroad, taking the government as the leading official support, the informal support of family, society and the elderly should also be adjusted in order to promote the sustainable development of the mutual-support mode in rural areas.
