Research On The Construction And Management Of Street Furniture In Lianyungang

Since 2000,China's urban construction has entered a period of rapid development in an all-round way.Today,the development of urban construction has reached a historic stage.With the rapid development of economy,major cities are paying more and more attention to the improvement of city image.Urban public facilities and services have been constantly improved,and the city's appearance has also been renewed.The supply level of urban public facilities and services can reflect the overall economic strength,planning and construction capacity and urban management level of a city.In the Guiding Opinions on Further Promoting the Reform of Urban Law Enforcement System and Improving Urban Management issued by the State Council in December 2015,it was pointed out that urban public space planning should be strengthened,urban design level should be upgraded,and the setting of newspaper kiosks,bus waiting kiosks and other street furniture should be standardized.This means that "street furniture" has become an important part of urban construction and management in China.Lianyungang City has a long history,mountains and seas embrace each other,beautiful scenery.Urban construction has always been the focus of public attention,as well as the focus of the Municipal Committee,the Municipal Government and experts and scholars.In 2008,the municipal government entrusted the Environmental Art Design Institute of Donghua University to carry out the design of street furniture system in Lianyungang City.Since its full implementation in 2012,the main urban area of Lianyungang has completed about 700 kilometers of street furniture construction.The coverage rate of street furniture in urban roads has reached more than 80%.The renewed street environment is safer,orderly,neat and humanized,and the overall urban environment has taken on a new look.In October 2017,the International Conference on Street Furniture Standardization in China was held in Lianyungang.At the meeting,the Chinese Standard Association awarded Lianyungang City the honorary Medal of "National Model City for Standardized Construction of Street Furniture",and affirmed the construction and management of street furniture in Lianyungang City.Lianyungang City has become the only city in the whole country that has won this honor so far.This paper mainly takes the construction and management of street furniture in Lianyungang City as the research object.On the basis of summarizing the achievements and practical experience,the existing problems and causes of the construction and management of street furniture are studied and analyzed,and the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.The author suggests that according to the general policy of "unified planning,system design,standardized management,model first,step by step implementation and scientific management",the whole process of street furniture construction and management should be controlled continuously,focusing on the current situation of the problem and adhering to the principle of "both construction and management".The government departments should establish the concept of urban management,change their functions,strengthen their functions,and constantly upgrade the construction hardware.Level and sophisticated management software level.By establishing comprehensive management platform,strengthening overall coordination,establishing information system,improving management efficiency,promoting market-oriented operation,strengthening bidding market management,straightening out management mechanism and ensuring efficient and far-reaching transformation,we can further improve the level of street furniture construction and management in Lianyungang City.It is hoped that the successful experience of Lianyungang street furniture construction and management can be further promoted through the research of this paper,so as to promote the overall development level of Lianyungang street furniture construction and management.
