| Sun Yefang was not only a famous economist,but also a Marxist who had strong faith.His rural economic thoughts have appeared in the debate on the Chinese rural social nature and promoted the Marxist theory wide spread in China,made important contributions to the Chinese revolutionary.The debate on the nature of rural society in China was the third debate after the debate on the nature of Chinese society and the debate on the history of Chinese society in the 1920 s and 1930 s.The debate on the nature of Chinese rural society originated from the controversy of the Communist International on China and the decision of the Sixth National Congress of CPC on China’s rural problems.The two sides of the debate were mainly Chinese rural faction represented by Chen Han-sheng,Sun Ye-fang and Xue Muqiao,and the Chinese economic faction represented by Wang Yichang,Zhang Zhicheng and Wang Jingbo.The main content of the debate is the research method of China’s rural economy and the social nature of China’s rural areas.Sun Yefang,as one of the representatives of the rural faction in China,his rural economic thought mainly based on Marxist political economy theory,refuted the pseudo-Marxist theory of the Chinese economic school,and then proved the correctness of the decisions made by The Sixth National Congress of the Communist Party of China on China’s rural issues.In the critical period of the collapse of the old order and the emergence of new social forces,a group of Marxist intellectuals were required to become passive heirs of the concept of political decision-making.On the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics,we should always adhere to the Marxist stand,viewpoint and method,and continuously push forward the development of Marxism in China.The advanced Marxist intellectuals are the source of power for China’s revolution,construction and development.Therefore,we should give full play to the active role of the Marxist intellectuals. |
