Research On The Historical Evolution Of The Trotskyism

Trotskyism,as a trend of thought,factions and movements have always been active in the stage of the world socialist movement.After nearly a hundred years of development,Trotskyism has become one of the major socialist trends in contemporary foreign countries.Since the 1920 s,Trotskyism has experienced constant crisis,adjustment and development.from the theoretical level,uphold the theory of continuous revolution and world revolution,Trotskyism developed a series A unique theoretical proposition;From the organizational point of view,the development of the Trotskyist experienced the complex period of the early left-wing opposition,the fourth international period and the crisis and the theoretical adjustment,finally formed today’s relatively dispersed power pattern;In practice,Trotskyism sought to promote the development of the workers’ movement and the use of revolutionary means to unify socialism in the world.Since the collapse of the former Soviet Union and the tremendous change to East Europe,the world Trotskyist organizations in the face of more complex external situation,the internal is disintegrated at the same time,what can manifested these phenomenon is in the organizational division and theoretical alienation.Trotskyism as the guiding ideology of the Trotskyist organization gradually developed into an important extreme left power.which see Trotskyism as their guiding ideology.Trotskyism still faces the realistic challenge of theoretical transition,organizational unity and access to mass support,and needs further reform and adjustment.The article is divided into six parts,from three dimensions of the history、 theory and the status quo make a comprehensive of the Trotskyist ideology and practice.The first part expounds the evolution of the concept of Trotskyism,analyzes the Trotskyism ’s evolution of its concept,that us to say,from a simple noun to a thought 、 faction and movement,the emergence of Trotskyism not only related to the Russian special history,but also closely linked to the European capital.The second part discusses the basic manifestations of the initial formation of Trotskyism,during which the Trotskyism guided the theory of continuous revolution and established the left-wing opposition,the international left-wing opposition,and so on to organize its own practice activity.The third part clarifies the defects of Trotskyism after 1938,which has been subjected to theassassination of revolutionary instructors and the frustration of revolutionary defeatism,which has been manifested its adaptability to its own development in the crisis.The fourth part analyzes the situation of Trotskyism after 1968,which is based on the capitalist crisis into the period of rapid development.The fifth part clarifies that Trotskyism has made a new reflection on the theory of the new era after 1991,and reorganized the Trotskyist movement into a stable period of development.The sixth part analyzes the utopian position of Trotskyism,and points out that the current Trotskyism is based on the shackles of the extreme left and can not get rid of the real dilemma of the present situation.The study of the historical evolution of Trotskyism and its theoretical propositions and even its practical activities plays an important role in correctly grasping the development of Trotskyism and the state of Trotskyist activities.It help us to clarify the boundaries between Marxism and non-Marxism,scientific socialism and other socialism and is of great importance to fully grasp the development of socialist movement in the world.
