Tax department is an important economic management department of the country,who undertakes the mission of "gathering money for the country and collecting taxes for the people",and tax revenue plays a fundamental and supportive role in national governance.In 2018,the reform of the tax collection and management system of the state and local taxes,the reunion of the state and local taxes separated for 24 years,the integration of business and personnel,and the promotion of policies such as optimizing the business environment and putting in place management services,have doubled the pressure on grassroots front-line tax cadres.Work stress has had a serious impact on job performance.Based on the basic tax cadres in Xi’an,this paper makes an empirical study on the effect of work stress on job performance through interview,questionnaire and statistical analysis.This paper understands the main sources of work pressure of the current grass-roots tax cadres through individual interviews,reads and refers to a large number of documents,selects role pressure,interpersonal relationship,career development,organization operation,and external pressure sources as pressure sources,and compiles a questionnaire,and conducts a questionnaire survey in the grass-roots units of the tax system of Xi’an.The reliability of the questionnaire was tested by SPSS analysis software,and the statistical analysis was carried out.The results of the survey found that the average working pressure of grassroots tax cadres was 3.176,which was relatively high.The analysis of variance and T-test showed that gender had significant difference in the dimension of work attributes stress.There were significant differences in role identification,interpersonal communication,career expectation and work stress among people of the different ages,and there were significant differences in work attributes among people of different working ages.And there is no significant difference in the dimensions of job stress and job performance between academic background,specialty,job position and administrative level.Correlation analysis found that there was a significant negative correlation between job attributes,role identification,interpersonal communication,organizational atmosphere,external stressors,career expectations,total amount of work stress and job performance.Regression analysis found that job attributes,role identification,interpersonal communication and career expectations had significant negative effects on job performance,while organizational climate and external stressors had no significant impact on job performance.The research finds out the main working pressure problems of the current grass-roots tax cadres,and enriches the sample of the work pressure of the civil servants on the work performance.According to the results of empirical research,this paper puts forward five countermeasures and suggestions for stress management,including establishing and improving working mechanism,establishing harmonious organizational atmosphere,improving tax career development management,strengthening communication and management with the outside world,and implementing employee health plan. |
