Research On Government Supervision Problems And Countermeasures Of Express Delivery Industry In Nanjing

With the prosperity of the e-commerce market,China’s express delivery industry has achieved rapid development.The overall scale of the express delivery industry has ranked first in the world for four consecutive years,and China has entered the ranks of express delivery countries.The express delivery industry plays an important role in expanding the employment of the people,enhancing the circulation of goods and helping the people to achieve a better life.The victory of the party’s 19 th National Congress also pointed out the road and direction for the higher quality development of China’s express delivery industry.A bright light.But at the same time,China’s express delivery industry often has a variety of problems such as lost mail,lost delivery,time-out,service charges,difficult claims,smuggling of dangerous goods,etc.,affecting the quality of express delivery services,causing the majority of express users.Dissatisfaction and the concern of public opinion are very unfavorable for China to build a strong express country.These problems reflect the problems and shortcomings of the government departments in the supervision of the express delivery industry.It is necessary for the government departments to strengthen supervision and improve the efficiency of supervision and change this situation as soon as possible.This paper takes Nanjing as a research object,conducts research from the perspective of government supervision,collects and analyzes relevant data and materials through field interviews,and introduces the development of Nanjing express industry,the status of government supervision,and the government supervision of Nanjing express industry.The results,based on the interviews and collected relevant information,put forward the four aspects of the government supervision of the express delivery industry in Nanjing,and then systematically analyzed the causes of the problems from the perspectives of the main government departments,the regulatory object express delivery companies,and the express consumers.Finally,drawing on the successful supervision experience at home and abroad,combined withthe public management theory such as multi-center governance,from the four aspects of enriching government supervision means,strengthening government supervision,improving supervision regulations and exerting the supervision power of express delivery associations,Feasible countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the regulatory effectiveness of the Nanjing Municipal Government’s regulatory authorities and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the Nanjing express delivery industry.
