In the process of rural economic development and transformation in China,farmer entrepreneurship is a smart choice to push agricultural and rural economic development forward and It is an effective way to increase income and is also an important force to promote entrepreneurship activities and innovation.The country Rural Work Conference in 2014 emphasized that we must stimulate the creativity,innovation,and entrepreneurial vitality in the rural to promote agricultural modernization and to form a vivid environment of entrepreneurship and innovation.However,the aging is one of the great challenges that China have to handle,especially the situation in rural of China is even more severe.Rural care in rural areas is generally dependent on family resources.The problem of Aging is bound to affect rural household economic activities by changing labor resources and financial asset allocation,which may have far-reaching impact on farmers’ entrepreneurship.Besides,Social security has remarkable performance in regulating economic development and Increasing the ability to take risks.This paper attempts to explore the impact mechanism of aging,social security and farmers’ entrepreneurship,and analyzes the impact of population aging on farmers’ entrepreneurship and the regulation effect of social security.Based on the theory of population transformation,needs hierarchy and behavioral decision-making,this paper constructs the impact mechanism model of aging,social security and farmer entrepreneurship,and puts forward the research hypothesis.Using the micro-farm data,the hypothetical contents was rigorously demonstrated.Based on the theoretical and empirical conclusions,an incentive mechanism to protect the entrepreneurship of farmers is constructed.In the empirical analysis,the paper analyzes the impact of aging on the entrepreneurship of farmers from the perspective of the age structure of the micro-family labor force using the panel data of the China Family Dynamics Tracking Survey from 2014 to 2016.The study found that the aging significantly reduced the probability of farmers starting a business,and social security can alleviate the adverse effects of aging on the entrepreneurship of farmers.To alleviate the pressure of potential entrepreneurs to support the elderly,it is necessary to make full use of the resources of the elderly and change the pressure as the driving force.Reducing the burden of endowment for potential entrepreneurs requires deepening the social security system and promoting the development of social pension institutions.It can effectively alleviate the time and economic burden of the aging population and better stimulate the entrepreneurial vitality of farmers.Finally,it is necessary to encourage farmers to choose innovative and entrepreneurial models,strengthen entrepreneurship training,and improve the entrepreneurial ability of farmers.
