In November 2016,"Oxford Dictionary" selected "post-truth" as the 2016 hot word.Although this is closely related to "British Brexit" and "Trump is the current US president","post-truth" is Beyond the political field,it has aroused widespread concern from all walks of life.It also reflects the social phenomenon characterized by the post-truth.It has covered all aspects of social life and even affected the public’s perception of the truth.With the widespread use of social media,discussions about public events have often followed the phenomenon of “post-truth”.However,it can be seen from the naming of the word "post-truth" that this concept has certain ambiguity and innovation.Therefore,it is necessary to first clarify the concept and evolution process of the post-truth phenomenon,the core of which is"emotion" and " Paradox,the essential meaning is: in the influence of public opinion,the influence of emotion is greater than the fact itself.In the current era of social media,the phenomenon of “post-truth” frequently appears in the spread of public events,and its manifestations are also quite diverse,such as news postings,lyric reversals,stereotypes,and emotional expressions.Secondly,in the analysis of the movement mechanism of the post-truth phenomenon,we can find that the formation factors of the post-truth phenomenon are multiple,including post-modern culture,media environment and social psychological angle;The process of propagation diffusion and regression attenuation,the propagation characteristics of the post-truth phenomenon in this process include real-time content production,which allows the truth to be gradually explored,and the diversification of the communication subject causes the complexity of public information judgment,and the emotional contagion Promoting the dissemination of content,the “filter bubble” caused by algorithm recommendation technology strengthens the individual’s prejudice in this process,and the concentrated and short-term attention accelerates the transformation and attenuation of the topic;currently,the “post-truth” phenomenon has existed objectively.In our social life,we must not only see its positive effects-reflectingpublic opinion,promoting the resolution of public events,but also seeing the negative effects-challenging the basic principles of journalism’s objectivity,resulting in journalism professionalism.Crisis,leading to the alienation of social trust,thus targeting the generation of negative effectsFinally,based on the above,the manifestations,formation factors,communication characteristics and effects of the post-truth phenomenon in social media,we should deal with the negative effects of the post-truth phenomenon from the perspectives of media,technology and public.Multi-agent,all-round public opinion governance pattern.
