The Evolution Of The Internet Public Opinion In Public Health Emergency And Strategy For The Government To Countermeasure

The development of Internet technology has enhanced people’s ability and ways to participate in social governance,promoted the efficiency of governmental interaction with the public.Online public opinion transmitted through the Internet contains a large number of appeals or suggestions that directly and promptly reflect public opinion.Internet public opinion is also the most straightforward,comprehensive and sharp expression of social condition and public opinion in online media,which creates favorable conditions for the scientific,democratic policy decision of government and the solution to social problems.On the other hand,as the general Chinese netizens tend to be younger,whose view on social issues is not mature enough and evaluation of the government’s ruling ability is not comprehensive enough,there are even extreme statements that provoke the masses.The quality of information in cyberspace varies,and it is difficult to distinguish.Some wrong,extreme,one-sided views are more likely to attract readers’ attention in cyberspace,putting pressure on the government’s reasonable policy decision.With the increasing popularity of Internet community public opinion activities,public health emergencies pose a big challenge to the government’s coping capacity due to its special rapidity,urgency and destructiveness.Starting from the purpose of online public opinions of government’s response to public health emergencies,with the main way of text sentiment analysis,this paper is indepth analysis of the real appeals and emotional needs of the people in public health emergencies.Firstly,the author generalizes the research status of network public opinion,especially that of public health emergencies,and analyze the research background and the research status at home and abroad.Secondly,the author deeply discusses the connotation and characteristics of the network public opinion,the main characteristics and the public opinion elements in the public health emergency,and analyze of online public opinion elements such as netizens,media,government,opinion leaders,etc.Thirdly,the author comprehensively sorts out the government’s strategy of response to public opinion in the current public health emergency in China,revealing the shortcomings of the government’s response towards the public opinion from both internal and external factors.Finally,this paper combining information science and psychology,with the effect of government public opinion response based on sentiment analysis,taking the “longevity vaccine” incident as an example,assessing the emotional characteristics of netizens in the official media,assesses the emotional characteristics of netizens in the official media,and analyze the real effect of government’s response to network public opinion to the real psychological needs of netizens.On this basis,it puts forward the feasible method of the government’s response strategy from macro to micro in the response to public health public opinion in China.On the basis of weibo review of the evaluation and Strategy of Government’s ability of public opinion response,this paper provides useful exploration for the development of the field of the public opinion to an interdisciplinary perspective,practical experience for the integration of informatics and psychology.It will help follow-up scholars to continue to explore the government’s public opinion response mechanism from the perspective of text sentiment analysis,to propose the scientificity of online public opinion response according to the emotional needs,therefore to enhance the capacity of governance as well as withstanding unknown risks.Meanwhile,I have established a model to analyze the public opinion cycle from a single emotional context.
