The rapid development of modern information communication technology has brought about great changes in the existence and development of the media,and created a new media,known as “we media”.we media refers to a platform for ordinary citizens to publish and spread to unspecific people or specific individuals by means of modern and electronic means,which they have seen and heard by their own ears.The characteristics of the media,such as universality,fissionability,timeliness and high sharing,attract more and more people to participate,and the human personality is released to the full.It can be seen that the arrival of the era of media has provided a broader platform for the expression of freedom of speech for citizens.People freely express their ideas in the virtual cyberspace,say what you want to say,and no one knows who you are.This undoubtedly enriched the opportunities and ways for people to express their freedom of expression.However,everything has its advantages and disadvantages.In recent years,the infringement of the media platform has occurred repeatedly,the network mob overflows,disrupts the public order,has been polluted from the media environment,and is flooded with all kinds of bad information.In the media era,everyone is a publisher and communicators,and freedom is one of the most fundamental rights of citizens.But is it possible for citizens to speak without scruples on the self media platform? Is it right that citizens do not regulate their speech on the media platform,which really protects their right to freedom of speech? Obviously,the answer is negative.Freedom is not absolute.Freedom of speech is also limited.This is also true in the media age.As President Xi Jinping once said,"cyberspace is the same as real society.We must advocate freedom as well as order." This paper,according to this idea,explores how to protect citizens' freedom of speech on the media platform under the background of the media era and the characteristics of the media itself.At the same time,it can also regulate the anomie of speech on the media platform and maintain the order of the network space.This article first introduces the concept of free media freedom of speech.The core of freedom of speech is freedom of speech,but it is only in the field of media.Then it analyzes the unique features of freedom of speech on the self media platform,as well as the value of citizens' full expression of freedom of speech with the help of the self media platform.Secondly,it analyzes why the freedom of speech in the era of self media is regulated by law,that is,the freedom of speech on the platform of the media has produced a problem,and there are a lot of anomie.We must regulate it by law.Again,the relevant legal basis of our country is introduced,and the problems existing in the legal regulation of freedom of speech in our country are put forward in view of the present situation of our country's legislation.Then we select several representative countries' legal regulation models of freedom of speech from the media and some inspirations that our country can draw lessons from.Finally,from the three levels of legislation,industry self-discipline and citizen itself,some suggestions are put forward to regulate freedom of speech from the media in China,so as to guide the freedom of speech from the media era to a more standardized road.
