| Promoting and implementing the strategy of village rejuvenation and building a better village life is an important goal of the current village governance and village development.In the special period of rural social transformation in which the current resident population of the village is dominantly aged,public life tends to be profitable,public values are collided and collided,and other rural social conflicts and problems are interwoven.As the important subjects of the village public affairs participation structure and the village power structure,protecting old people’s rights to equal participation and equal development,nurturing and developing their collective values such as collectivism,which is of great significance.It is an important part of optimizing older people’s participation in village public affairs and,building a participatory village culture and collectivist village atmosphere.It is of great theoretical value and practical significance to build a mutual building,governing and sharing modern village governance structure.This article is based on development status and current positive new factors of rural older people’s collective spirit,development background,development hindrance and group characteristics of rural older people’s participation in village public affairs.According to relevant theoretical research results and practical experience,the constituent elements of rural older people’s collective spirit and village public affairs’ participation are extracted.Then building a relational model and its indicator measurement system about rural older people’s participation in village public affairs from the perspective of collectivism.We select sample villages for case studies,conduct field research using a combination of typical case in-depth interviews and survey questionnaires,conduct an empirical study based on the reliability and validity analysis,correlation analysis,and regression analysis,exploring development status and internal mechanism of rural older people’s participation in village public affairs from the perspective of collectivism.Finally,based on the empirical research conclusions,propose countermeasures of optimizing rural older people’s participation in village public affairs from the perspective of collectivism.Main conclusions of this research are as follows:(1)rural older people have group characteristics.Comprehensive questionnaire survey and interview data,rural older people have a collective spirit;in reality,rural older people’s participation in village public affairs shows a certain degree of disengagement in their concepts and actions,and the participation characteristics of the strong-concept weaker actions are more prominent;from the trend point of view,the ability of the rural older people to participate in village public affairs needs to be tapped,but it is still in a weak position compared with young people.(2)there is a close intrinsic link between rural older people’s collectivism spirit and participation in village public affairs.The process of upgrading the rural older people’s participation in village public affairs is the process of cultivating the spirit of collectivism.The two influence and promote each other.(3)rural older people’s collectivism spirit has a positive effect on the participation in villages public affairs,group integration and normative obedience have a positive influence on the rural older people’s participation in village public affairs.In view of interest compromise and collective identification in promoting the rural older people’s participation in village public affairs,it is still in a hidden state,so it is urgent to cultivate the collective spirit of rural older people.(4)the performance of rural older people’s participation in village public affairs has a positive effect on fostering the spirit of collectivism.The participation of content forms and participation performance has a positive influence on the collectivism spirit of rural older people.In view of participation conditions and participation guarantees,the promotion of the collectivism spirit of the rural older people is still in a latent state,so it is imperative to promote the rural older people’s participation in village public affairs and optimize the democratization process of village governance.The effective path for rural older people’s participation in village public affairs from the perspective of collectivism is: firstly,persist in the people’s livelihood and the people’s center,developing the village economy,and increasing infrastructure construction in village public places;secondly,strengthening the construction of village culture,vigorously developing the organizations for the older people,and creating a village atmosphere of collective cooperation and mutual assistance;thirdly,cultivating the elites of the old people,adhere to the village of collaborative governance,optimizing the participants and participation structure of the village public affairs. |
