A Study On The Role Of Women’s Federation In The Prevention And Cure Of Domestic Violence

Domestic social violence is prevalent in the world,has become a global hot issue,it not only the victims and their families have brought serious harm to the harmonious development of society also had a negative impact,which for women The problem of domestic violence is particularly acute.It is caused by history,society,economy,personal and many other factors,not only the traumatized women on the physical and psychological trauma,but also to the minor children left a shadow of violence,and even those who will violent violence The The women’s association as a bridge and link between the party and the government and the masses of the women is the "motherly family" of the broad masses of women.It represents the fundamental interests of the broad masses of women of all ethnic groups in our country and promotes the realization of equality between men and women.Based on the nature of the women’s association,the functions and the political,organizational,social and mass interests of the general non-governmental organizations in the prevention and treatment of domestic violence,this paper takes the practice of Lanzhou Women’s Federation to control domestic violence as an example.Its effectiveness in the prevention and treatment of domestic violence and the public awareness of the harmful risks of domestic violence,social intervention linkage mechanism is not perfect,the intervention mechanism is not perfect,limited human and financial resources,lack of psychological relief to the perpetrators and many other issues,The Lanzhou City Women’s Federation to combat domestic violence put forward specific countermeasures and suggestions:that is to strengthen the source of domestic violence prevention and control,to build a social anti-domestic violence linkage mechanism,the establishment of domestic violence intervention mechanism,play the role of women’s federations in government management and services And the establishment of a sound social and psychological service system,so that women’s organizations on the prevention and control of domestic violence more systematic and effective to further reduce and curb the occurrence of domestic violence.
