Study On The Assistance Of Chengde Women’s Federation To Victims Of Domestic Violence

In modern society,domestic violence is a very common social phenomenon all over the world,which seriously affects the physical and mental health of victims,and to a certain extent affects the harmonious development of society.After the world women’s Congress was held in China at the end of the 20 th century,the problem of domestic violence against women has gradually aroused widespread concern in the society.All along,China’s women’s Federation,as a government led social organization,has always played an important role in maintaining the relationship between the party and the government and women’s groups,with special advantages of political and mass attributes.The promulgation of the anti domestic violence law has provided legal support for the women’s Federation to assist the victims of domestic violence.It is of great significance to reduce domestic violence and create a harmonious and stable social environment.However,the prevention and governance of domestic violence is complex,and the governance effect of this problem is still unsatisfactory.Domestic violence still occurs from time to time,which makes the rescue of victims of domestic violence particularly important.This study fully collects and refers to the research results of previous scholars on the rescue work for victims of domestic violence,mainly takes the social support theory as the research starting point,and uses the methods of interview,case analysis and questionnaire survey to study the rescue work for victims of domestic violence organized by Chengde women’s Federation.Based on the actual investigation,this study summarizes the current situation of women’s Federation organizations’ assistance to victims of domestic violence.From the perspective of the path of women’s Federation organizations’ providing social support to victims,it summarizes the problems existing in Chengde women’s Federation organizations’ assistance to victims of domestic violence,mainly including the difficult realization of cooperative assistance,the insufficient ability of women’s Federation staff.There are some problems in the implementation of the anti domestic violence law,such as the dilemma and the insufficient mobilization of the victims’ awareness of safeguarding their rights.Through interviewing the victims of domestic violence,analyzing typical cases of domestic violence and designing questionnaires for investigation,this paper analyzes the reasons for the problems of Chengde women’s Federation in the social support system in helping victims of domestic violence,and comes to the conclusion that the linkage mechanism of various social subjects is not perfect,there are deficiencies in the construction of human resources of the women’s Federation,there are limitations in the anti domestic violence law,and there are shortcomings in the publicity work,This has restricted the effectiveness of the women’s Federation in assisting victims of domestic violence.Finally,it explores how to optimize the suggestions of Chengde women’s Federation on the relief of victims of domestic violence,and puts forward measures to promote the cooperative relief of all social subjects,strengthen the construction of human resources management of the women’s Federation,improve and strengthen the anti domestic violence law and create a good cooperative relief environment.
