Under the academic advocacy of "rewrite of Chinese film history",regional film research has become a new direction of historical research.Since ancient times,China has been a multi-ethnic country.Because of its vast territory,different regions have formed their own unique geographical environment,cultural background,traditional customs and so on,which deeply affect the creation of films.The creation of Chinese films has never been short of regional features,such as the well-known Shanghai film,Beijing film and so on,which have added a great deal of color to Chinese film.Based on Bashu culture which has a long-standing and well-established history,Sichuan-flavor films carry the unique spiritual culture and aesthetic characteristics of the Bashu people,showing the extraordinary artistic form and artistic value.These are completely different from Shanghai film,Beijing film and the other regional films.Therefore,the research on Sichuan-flavor film can fill some gaps in the study of Chinese regional films.The thesis takes the films of Emei Film Studio as the main targets.The thesis is divided into four chapters: the first Chapter defines the concept of Sichuan-flavor film firstly,and then based on Sichuan-flavor film itself systematically analyzes and elaborates the historical development.And the development process of Sichuan-flavor film is divided into "start-up period","development period" and "weight-bearing period".The second chapter analyzes the artistic features of Sichuan-flavor film from three aspects including the creation based on reality,the strong regional customs and the plain lens language.The third chapter is based on the culture of Bashu,discussing the cultural connotation of Sichuan-flavor film,and analyzing how to express the mainstream ideology and humanistic care in Sichuan-flavor film.The fourth chapteranalyzes the development predicaments Sichuan-flavor film,and prospects the future development of Sichuan-flavor film. |
