In modern Chinese, there is often an unequivalence relationship between quantifiers and depiction things, namely, the phenomenon of "one noun modified by multiple quantifiers" which enables the quantifiers to have the social function in substitution. From this perspective, quantifiers are more likely to be the medium on which things are described in which different expressions conform to one depiction thing, and vice verse. The alternation of noun and quantifier belongs to the former. The phenomenon of one noun modified by multiple quantifier is a major difficulty in second language acquisition, specifically to the teaching category of Chinese quantifiers as a foreign language. These noun quantifiers often have the same form, similar semantics, and overlapping objects.Learners show obvious learning difficulties when replacing them, and the difficulty of substitution of noun quantifiers of different levels and different scopes is different. The theory of "Hierarchy of Difficulty" proposed by the Clifford Praetor and analysis of second language acquisition theory is roughly consistent.Combining noun quantifiers in Chinese as a second language in teaching substitution with the Hierarchy of Difficulty can further explore the degree of difficulty of noun quantifiers in substitution, thus inspire the quantifier teaching in Chinese as a foreign language. In order to further explore the specific hierarchy of difficulty,we use the theory called "difficulty level model" delivered by Clifford Praetor as a research method throughout the paper, and at the same time combine the language acquisition mechanism and universal grammar theory hypothesis, cognitive linguistics and relativism theory to supplement this paper. Moreover, other methods are used like questionnaire, interview, mathematical statistics and so on to support it.Furthermore, the substitution including noun and quantifier in modern Chinese and the difficulty level mode of second language acquisition is connected with each other. The research methods can be divided into research context and discovering research value(Chapter 1: Introduction)-elaborating on the research rationale and confirming the feasibility of the research(Chapter 2: the rationale for the substitution of noun and quantifier and the hierarchy of difficulty)-analyzing statistical data and summarizing the difficulty level(Chapter 3 and 4 :Theoretical latitude, the connection of noun and quantifier and the hierarchy of difficulty in error latitude)-contacting teaching practice and conforming the research significance(Chapter 5 and 6: the connection of the substitution of noun and quantifier with the hierarchy of difficulty in teaching strategy and conclusion)the four continuous phases intend to demonstrate the guidance in the hierarchy of difficulty in the second language learners, that is,the guidance role is to act as the understanding medium between the second language learners and the learning objectives and then to guide the second language learners to learn the substitution rules of modern Chinese through the translation of teaching strategies into concrete practices.
