The richness of quantifiers is an important feature of Chinese lexical categories, and the study of quantifiers has always been valued by language scholars. With the rise of dialectology and the national emphasis on the protection of language resources, dialectal quantifiers are becoming a hot spot of research.Xunxian is located in the northern part of Henan Province,at the junction of the Jin language area in northern Henan and the Zhongyuan official dialect area, and its dialect belongs to the Zhengkai area of Zhongyuan official dialect. This paper takes Xunxian dialect nominal quantifiers as the research object, collects rich Xunxian dialect nominal quantifiers corpus by means of field surveys, describes and analyzes the Xunxian dialect nominal quantifiers system, reflects the whole picture of Xunxian dialect nominal quantifiers, and focuses on the usage, characteristics and cultural background of Xunxian dialect characteristic quantifiers. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the text is divided into four chapters. The first chapter based on the systematic investigation of the common nominal quantifiers in Xunxian dialect, the nature of quantifiers and the characteristics of Xunxian dialect are considered, and the quantifiers in Xunxian dialect are divided into two categories from the cognitive-semantic perspective: measurement quantifiers and imitative quantifiers.Among them, measurement words are subdivided into focus words, measurement words, attached words and statute words;imitation words are divided into shape words, verbal words and other words. The investigation of the cognitive-semantic categories of Xunxian dialect nominal quantifiers can help highlight the characteristics of Xunxian dialect. The second chapter analyzes the two-way selection relationship between the noun measure and the noun and related adjectives in Xunxian dialect from the semantic perspective, and explains through rich linguistic facts that the noun measure in Xunxian dialect has not only the typical primitive measurement function, but also the copying function, the concordance function and the evaluation function. The third chapter focuses on the evaluative morphological means and specific evaluative functions of Xunxian dialect nouns and quantifiers, based on a systematic examination of Xunxian dialect constructions and morphological forms. The evaluative morphology is mainly realized by means of affixation and overlap, and is manifested in various forms and functions. The prefixes "ge-","gu-","bu-","du-" and the suffixes "-zi" and "-er" are typical example of the evaluative forms of the affixes;the "One A One A","AA" and "AXA" are typical example of their overlapping evaluative forms;the small, incremental, praiseworthy and derogatory forms are the concrete expressions of their evaluative functions. The fourth chapter explores the regional culture of Xunxian as reflected in some of the characteristic nominal quantifiers of the Xunxian dialect and the unique cultural experiences and cognitive styles of the local people of Xunxian, which are mainly manifested in farming culture, ritual culture, migrant military culture, toponymic culture, and food and entertainment culture.
