During the Ming Dynasty,China's feudal system already showed signs of ending.When the Ming dynasty began to gradually decline,the humanistic thoughts with modern significance revealed light,and a variety of doctrines that liberated individuality and respect for nature appeared.These doctrines together constituted the humanistic trend of thought in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.The emergence of humanistic thoughts is the inevitable product of the times.The changes in the social atmosphere at that time,and the dissatisfaction of the intellectuals in this period with the environment,greatly encouraged them to seek change.As the leaders of the trend of thought,they not only lead this trend in the field of thought,but also spread this idea in different forms of expression in many fields such as art,literature,and drama.Xu Wei,who happened to live in the middle and late Ming dynasties,has a distinctive era imprint on his freehand ink paintings,literati identity,painful experiences,and radical changes in his thoughts.This article explores the tendency of his overall thinking by placing Xu Wei's painting ideas in the context of the humanistic ideology in the middle and late Ming dynasties,taking his friends and teachers as his entry point,and then discusses the influence of this thought in painting creation.The creation of a new generation of painting style and the great reputation behind it have a major impact on the painting world of later generations.This kind of change in painting art cannot be achieved by one person,it must be the power of gathering people.And this kind of oneon-one identification also conforms to the direction of the trend and reflects the mark of the times.This article discusses the influence of the middle and late Ming Dynasty on the field of painting by collecting,collating and analyzing data.Xu Wei,as a character in the trend,is not only affected by the trend but also affected this trend.Starting from Xu Wei,a typical character,In order to have a certain understanding of the influence of the generation of humanistic thoughts in the middle and late Ming Dynasty on the entire literati painting.
