Study On The Design Of No-Words Characters In Animated Films

As the soul core of animated films,color directly reflects the crucial role of characters in animated films,and the success of character creation directly affects the final presentation effect of films.In animated films,a character is often shaped by appearance,sound,personality,etc.,among which language is a tool to directly reflect the character's inner personality.But in some of the animated film,there are some no words role without dialogue,either from the beginning to the end always silent film,or the name is not complete,logic,can let the audience understand the language,the viewer cannot borrow from words to explore the role of the inner world,only through its visual characteristics or other elements in the film to feel character,etc.The object of this paper is the talk-free characters in animated films.Starting from the analysis of the typing of talk-free characters,the talk-free characters are classified from different creation dimensions,and the status of talk-free characters in animated films is discussed.Coupled with no role in the animated film,the design case,from no words role modelling,colour,expression,action,character five aspects to research,that there was no character design in an attempt to analysis the characteristics of the characteristic,explores how nothing role in the absence of words using visual art replace language art,convey information,reveal character charm.This paper analyzes the narrative function and the value of nonverbal characters in animated films through the shaping of the multiplex image of nonverbal characters.And in the end to think about what to expect for the character design without words.This research focuses on exploring why,in today's developed audio-visual technology,we still devote ourselves to the production of wordless characters,what design features and features wordless characters have in animated films,what functions the design of wordless characters has for films,and what value the design of wordless characters has.It is hoped that this research can solve the puzzles and provide some help for future creators to design such characters.
