Brahms was an outstanding composer in the 19 th century,the last composer of German classicism,and the composer in the middle of romanticism.He,along with Bach and Beethoven,is now known as a "three Bs"--a testament to his greatness.His Violin Sonata No.3 in d minor(op.108)is an important music repertoire in history of Western music.Taking Brahms’ s violin sonata no.3 in d minor as an case stury,the author analyzes this work on the base of his own performance experience,and discusses the performance aspects among the composer’s compositional ideas,musical expression and the others.
