A Probe Into The Creative Techniques And Performance Interpretation Of Brahms’s Variations On Paganini Theme

Brahms,as a famous German musician in the Romantic period,created a total of six variations in his life,among which Paganini Theme Variations is the final work of the variation genre in Brahms’ s music creation career,and it is based on the musical material of the famous Italian violinist Paganini’s 24 Violin Rhapsody.This paper focuses on Paganini’s Variations on a Theme created by Brahms as the research object,starts with sorting out Brahms’ s piano creation and the creation background of this piece,analyzes the musical structure of this piece,and expounds the stylistic characteristics of the blend of classicism and Romanticism embodied in this work.Based on the author’s experience in studying and playing this piece during graduate school,this paper analyzes the playing techniques of this piece from the perspectives of the quick running of notes,the playing of intervals,the playing of octaves and chords,and the application of pedals,and sorts out and summarizes the key and difficult points in the playing process.It also puts forward some suggestions on how to express the emotional connotation and style characteristics of music,hoping to deepen the understanding and understanding of the difficult work "Paganini Theme Variations" through this paper,and also hope to provide some valuable theoretical referen...
