A Practical Report On Long And Difficult Sentences Translation Of Precious Gifts Under The Guidance Of Eco-translatology

Cultural globalization is a form of globalization.Under the influence of cultural globalization,as the accumulation of human spiritual world and social civilization,literary works,with their rich value,have produced a far-reaching impact in the world.As cultural exchanges become more frequent,it is important to translate well.This practice report adopts ecological translation as the guiding theory in order to obtain a more authentic translation from the maximum extent,so as to expand the new perspective of literary translation,promote the development and perfection of emerging theories,and contribute to the cultural exchange and communication.This paper is a practical report based on the translation practice of the book Precious Gifts.First,the basic theory of ecological translation is introduced to illustrate its guidance for the translation of novels.Then,combining with specific translation cases,this report discusses the guiding significance of ecological translation from the perspective of language,culture and communication.Moreover,guided by the three dimensions of ecological translation theory,translators have studied translation key and difficult points in translation practice,mainly including the following three points:First of all,the nature of literature determines its content's literary style and rhetoric.In the process of translation,the translation should express the artistic image of the work;Second,the author selects a large number of literary excerpts,and the language is very lyrical,so in translation,we should try to restore the language style,so that the translation is appropriate and smooth;Third,the selected article is a specific foreign environment,involving profound cultural background and complex knowledge.This requires the translator to consider the factors to be specific and comprehensive,in the expression of reasonable optimization,to make it fully understood by the reader.In view of the influence and dissemination value of the book,the translator hopes to broaden the research scope of literary translation and provide more research ideas for other researchers.Through this practice,translators also hope to strengthen theirpragmatic awareness and multicultural awareness,so as to better carry out cross-cultural communication.
