| In recent years,the historical and cultural documentaries made by Zhou Bing have been broadcast in many overseas media and TV stations.It can be said that Zhou Bing has implemented the cultural strategy of "Going Global" advocated by the state very well,and he is the "beneficiary" and "benchmark" in the international industrial chain of domestic documentaries.The successful export of Zhou Bing’s works also prompts us to ask: How do his documentaries reach international standards? How are his documentaries sold overseas? Has an international vision been embedded behind his creation? Can his "success" be replicated? This paper takes the historical and cultural documentaries that Zhou Bing successfully sold overseas and broadcast on foreign media and television stations as the research text to discuss the characteristics of Zhou Bing’s documentaries’ international creation and operation strategies.This paper is divided into five parts: the introduction and four chapters.The introduction explains the background and research significance of the topic,sorts out the research results related to the topic,and states the research ideas of this topic;The first chapter summarizes the development of Chinese historical and cultural documentaries as well as the creation of Zhou Bing’s documentaries;The second chapter analyzes Zhou Bing’s creation of historical and cultural documentaries in detail from three aspects: topic selection,narrative mode and version change in cross-cultural communication.Meanwhile,this chapter explores the dramatic and story-telling artistic characteristics of Zhou Bing’s documentaries;The third chapter explores the international audio-visual language features of Zhou Bing’s historical and cultural documentaries from visual and auditory perspectives,which is a "filmic" presentation.At the same time,the chapter analyzes the innovation of the "true representation" technique in Zhou Bing’s documentary to show the director’s creative idea of advancing with the times and bringing forth the new;The fourth chapter discusses the operation strategy of Zhou Bing’s documentaries with "Going Global".National policy promotion,the way of "diversified" fund raising,the expansion of overseas communication channels and the internationalization of marketing affect the whole process of Zhou Bing’s documentary creation.Through a systematic and comprehensive analysis,this paper summarizes the successful way of internationalization of Zhou Bing’s historical and cultural documentaries,which can provide the reference,imitation and operation experience for other documentary directors at home and abroad to shoot "going-out" works in the future.At the same time,it can bring some inspirations on how to do a good job in the internationalization of Chinese historical and cultural documentaries. |
