The Spiritual Dimension Of Chi Zijian’s Novels From The Perspective Of Borderland

Since she entered the literary arena in the 1980 s,Chi Zijian has consciously become the spokesman of the northeast region.Her works take the common soul of human and nature as the narrative background,presenting the unique natural scenery,people’s conditions,customs and cultural history of "northeast border region".To display the unique tenacity,calmness and humility of the people in the northeast;The vivid life experience and survival experience on this land form a positive force that still hopes for life after all the hardships.The tension,elasticity and richness of the cultural geography of "frontier land" inject a constant stream of fresh blood into the northeast world in Chi Zijian’s works,and influence and weight the author’s unique spiritual dimension.Therefore,this paper intends to take the novel the Right Bank of the Erguna River as the main research object,starts from the perspective of border and land,describes the customs of border and land world,explores the author’s ultimate concern for human beings in the spiritual home,and deeply explores the creative context of Chi Zijian’s spiritual orientation.In the first chapter of this paper,from the three aspects of the natural geographical landscape,the human geographical landscape and the images of the characters in the northeast border region,the author tries to present the mysterious,three-dimensional and multi-dimensional border region world described by the readers,so as to create a spiritual home with nature around,the world in the eyes and faith in the heart.In the Right Bank of Erguna River,Chi Zijian restated a real frontier world of ewenki people for readers.The vivid natural and cultural landscape here became a "text" for readers to interpret,so that readers and ewenki people could have a life experience of sound and harmony.Chi Zijian not only tells the story of a nation,a piece of land,the ultimate direction of this frontier world is all mankind.The spiritual home she depicted in her works gives people an emotional comfort,reactivating the tired minds of modern civilization,and giving them a sense of satisfaction and release that they can’t get in real life.This is Chi Zijian cherishes nature and loves life,and it is also her earnest wish for the whole real world.The second chapter summarizes and reflects on Chi Zijian’s exploration of the ultimate concern for human beings in her novels.Her frontier world restores reality and surpasses reality.In the impermanence of life,she finds some ultimate thoughts higher than the joys and sorrows of fate:the power to make peace with everything,the power to respect nature and the power to firmly believe in religion.Chi Zijian endowed the people in northeast China with the spiritual ability to reconcile with people,nature and the world.Holding high the fire of faith and the spiritual quality of "unity of things and me" with all natural things become the "ultimate care" to dissolve human disturbance and guide human maze in the process of reaching the spiritual home.The third chapter of this paper discusses and analyzes the creative context of Chi Zijian’s novels.This chapter recalls Chi Zijian’s own growth environment and special experience by restoring the unique natural scenery and cultural history in northeast China,and analyzes the main reasons for the formation of Chi Zijian’s spiritual orientation in her novels under the background of "tell a good story about China".It is the special geographical environment of the northeast region,the living environment of the writer and the era environment of "Telling Chinese Stories Well" that make Chi Zijian.In the era when the eyes of the world are watching the "image of China",Chi Zijian actively responds to the call of "cultural confidence" of the country,works closely around the development of the northeast region,carries forward the enduring spirit of the northeast frontier region,and presents a positive and hopeful "image of China" with the strength of the northeast.Finally,this paper holds that Chi Zijian’s spiritual orientation of reconciliation with all things,empathy with all things,and firm national belief in his novels penetrates the national territory and crosses the racial boundary,becoming a more universal spiritual guidance and universal value.She is a qualified ambassador to spread the northeast culture and even the fine traditional culture of the Chinese nation.
