The third party punishment refers to the punishment of the violator by the party whose own interests are not directly affected by the violation, that is,the punishment imposed by the third party who is not affected by the incident, that is,the phenomenon of "fighting against injustice on the road" in life. The research points out that with the improvement of people’s education, the score of sense of integrity is gradually decreasing. As the main talent reserve of a society, college students play an important role in establishing a good social morality and fashion. However, the score of students’ sense of integrity is surprisingly low, which has to cause our deep thinking and exploration.Third party punishment can promote people’s integrity behavior, and then enhance their sense of integrity, which plays an important role in maintaining social equity and promoting interpersonal cooperation.Fehr systematically explores the third party punishment. He integrates the third party punishment into the dictator game to observe the behavior of the third party to the unfair phenomenon.Today, this paradigm is still recognized and adopted by many scholars. This study also uses ERP technology to further analyze the electrophysiological response of this effect. In Experiment 1,we explored the effect of punishment cost on the third-party punishment behavior of college students with different positive feelings. In Experiment 2,we introduce a new variable "punishment intensity",that is,the severity of punishing violators, which is divided into two conditions: high punishment intensity(1:10)and low punishment intensity(1:1).We explore the impact of punishment cost and punishment intensity on the third-party punishment behavior of college students with different sense of integrity. The results show that:(1)sense of integrity can predict the third-party punishment behavior of college students, and the college students with higher sense of integrity have more punishment behaviors in the face of unfair situations;(2)the punishment cost can significantly affect the third-party punishment behavior of low sense of integritycollege students, compared with the cost, low sense of integrity college students have more punishment behaviors without cost;(3)the punishment behavior of low sense of integrity college students increased significantly with the increase of punishment intensity, and the impact of punishment cost on the third-party punishment behavior of low sense of integrity college students will be weakened with the increase of punishment intensity. In terms of brain wave amplitude,we found that:(1)FRN amplitude induced by no cost condition was significantly larger than that induced by cost condition;(2)in P200 component, the amplitude of high sense of integrity college students was smaller than that of low sense of integrity college students. |
