In Shiji Records And Comments Of The Pre-qin Scholars Study

Academic thought in China and in the history of historical science of China,the pre-qin scholars and their thought is a topic that is not open around,that on the academic history,declaration of pre-qin scholars to his own idea,writing,and created the Confucianism,Taoism,legalism,mohist school,the yin-yang school,academic schools,military and so on,opened the first in the history of Chinese academic thought era of great development and prosperity,for its two thousand years of Chinese ideology and culture laid a theoretical foundation.In historical studies,on the basis of the pre-qin scholars in the pre-qin historiographer inherited and developed the concept of nature and man,ancient and modern view,the world view,such as historical idea,attach importance to the sorting of historical documents and compiling,attaches great importance to the history of social function and the 'spirit of "write down the truth" historical tradition,from this sense,the pre-qin scholars and qin noted a pioneered the traditional Chinese historiography.It is because of the important role of the pre-qin scholars in academic and historical studies that sima qian,with the historical goal of "studying the nature and human beings,passing through the changes of ancient and modern times and becoming one family's words",wrote a biography of the pre-qin scholars in his great historical work shi ji,recording and commenting on the life stories and thoughts of the pre-qin scholars in a comprehensive and systematic way.Based on the study of the pre-qin scholars published in shiji,I come to the following understanding: sima qian wrote a biography of the pre-qin scholars in shiji,and recorded and evaluated the "pre-qin scholars" represented by Confucius,mencius,zhuangzi,han feizi and sun tzu.With the help of the records and comments on the pre-qin scholars and their ideas,the academic thoughts since the pre-qin have been systematically sorted out,summarized and integrated.It has realized its historical purpose of "jue xie six classics and one hundred miscellaneous languages in order".On the whole,sima qian objectively recorded and evaluated the life experiences and academicthoughts of the pre-qin scholars.Although there were some problems and regrets,such as harsh evaluation on the legalist scholars and too brief record on mozi,the flaws did not make up for them.It was because of sima qian's brilliant writing that the stories and thoughts of the pre-qin scholars were understood and known by later generations.Their historical concepts and historical thoughts,along with the inheritance and development of sima qian's historical records,influenced generations of historians and promoted the development and prosperity of traditional Chinese historiography.
