Catalogue Comparative Studies In Shiji And Hanshu

Since Ban Gu writing Hanshu,and saying "Shi Gong San Shi",the similarities anddifferences between Shiji and Hanshu caused the world’s attention. After the TangDynasty,there were more and more talking about the similarities and differences betweenShiji and Hanshu better. Since the Song Dynasty have Ban Ma Zi Lei, the comparisonsbetween Ban Gu and Sima Qian are starting to appear. In recent years, it is getting hot andbecome a science, but will take a lot time for someone to look up information. However,there is no a specialized dissertation, catalogue books or descriptive catalogue of books forthe comparative studies in Shiji and Hanshu, every expert want to study the Comparative ofthe Shiji and Hanshu has to look up information from the begining, it is necessary for themto carefully search for the source of the information, but also unknown well, they must haveto read the whole chapter,and look up the whole information, this is not only a waste of timebut wasted effort. The task of this paper is to provide convenience.The books which I saw are the study objects of this paper,and the main works which I doare five points:First, catalogue the comparative books between Shiji and Hanshu. Ancient booksintroduce its version of the characteristics, compare content, significance, and chief containedimportant preface and postscript, in order to understand a book related to the situation;modern books introduce the contents,the main contribution, and the problems.Second, catalogue the comparative monograph between Shiji and Hanshu. It introducesa place where a produce comes from, the contents, the main contribution, and the problems.Third, catalogue the comparative monograph of master and docter`s between Shiji andHanshu. This part will main introduce their teachers, their valuable thoughts,the problemsand so on.Forth, to sum up the main contribution of the different periods of history in order tomake people understand the different direction and the characteristics of different periods.Fifth, collect valuable fragmentary monograph of the different periods of history, and provide the clues to make people know well.This subject include the introduction, the textual research, the commentary and so on, inorder to reflect the point of view of philology, bibliography, the study of edition, and thetextual criticism.
