Research On Documentaries Of Chinese Cities(2011-2019)

China has experienced the largest and fastest urbanization in world history since the founding of the People’s Republic of China 70 years ago,according to a series of reports on China’s economic and social development achievements on the 70 th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,released by the national bureau of statistics.Many documentary production organizations,including the China media group,have launched a large number of excellent city documentaries to record this great process.Based on the 2011 to 2019 documentary made broadcast of the contemporary city as the research subject,in urban sociology,image narrative,learn discipline concept as the instruction,images from the expression of theme,language,theme types,definition,development strategy of five aspects,analyze the city documentary creation,excavate the academic value of documentary works.The introduction part of this paper describes the process of urbanization in China and the research background of urban documentary,determines the research content and research methods of this paper,and classifies and integrates the research results of urban documentary.The main body of the thesis consists of four parts: chapter one defines the concept and classifies the theme of urban documentary;The second chapter analyzes the ecological theme,cultural theme and life theme of urban documentary,and completes the expression and construction of urban documentary theme through the interpretation of character selection,spatial presentation,narrative structure and narrative perspective.The third chapter analyzes the image language of city documentaries from the perspective of visual language and auditory language.The visual language part focuses on the analysis of the documentary’s long lens,the use of empty lens and the presentation of picture modeling,while the auditory language part focuses on the analysis of the documentary’s simultaneous sound,background music and commentary.The fourth chapter puts forward various narrative strategies,cross-cultural communication strategies and new media propaganda strategies according to the development status of urban documentaries.
