Based on the definition of independent learning ability by Holec,a French scholar,this paper compiled a questionnaire on the independent learning ability of Korean students from five dimensions: determination of learning objectives,determination of learning content,selection of learning methods and techniques,monitoring of learning process and evaluation of learning effect.This paper mainly discusses the situation of Korean students’ independent learning ability and its correlation with Chinese achievement.Finally,it provides some enlightenment for teachers on how to cultivate the independent learning ability of Korean students.The introduction mainly introduces the research purpose and significance,theoretical basis,research methods and research ideas.The first chapter mainly summarizes the definition of autonomous learning and the research on autonomous learning ability at home and abroad.The second chapter explains the implementation of the survey from the perspectives of questionnaire design and interview design.The third chapter analyzes the survey results and mainly discusses the situation of Korean students’ independent learning ability.The fourth chapter analyzes the correlation between the survey results and Chinese language scores,and mainly discusses the correlation between Korean students’ Chinese autonomous learning ability and Chinese language ability.The last chapter,based on the analysis results of the first two chapters,summarizes the status quo of Korean students’ independent learning ability of Chinese,and puts forward Suggestions on how to train Korean students’ independent learning ability from three perspectives.The conclusion part illustrates the research results and shortcomings.The results of this study show that south Korean students have a certain degree of independent learning ability of Chinese,in which the ability to determine the learning content is relatively strong,followed by the ability to determine the Chinese objective,the ability to evaluate the learning effect,the ability to choose learning methods and techniques,and the ability to monitor the learning process.There was no significant difference in Korean students’ Chinese autonomous learning ability in gender and learning duration.The independent learning ability of Korean students has a significant positive correlation with the Chinese learning achievement,and has a strong correlation with the five dimensions that constitute the independent learning ability of Chinese.
