Homework is not only an important part of classroom teaching activities,but also an important means to consolidate and test the effect of students' classroom learning.With the wide implementation of the whole unit teaching mode,the design of unit work becomes more and more important and it's urgent to clarify the specific objectives and content framework of unit work.At present,there are some obvious charactristics in the unit work,such as more limited works,less independent choices;more written works,less comprehensive practices;less evaluation subjects and ways,etc.The unreasonable and unscientific design of unit work will affect the teaching effect of teachers' and the acquisition of students' knowledge.In addition,through combing the domestic literature on unit work design,the author finds that the domestic scholars' research on this aspect is shallow and not specific.Therefore,it is necessary to study and probe the ideas and approaches of primary school English unit work,so as to provide some guidances for first line English teachers in unit work design,improving the quality of unit work design.This paper mainly adopts grounded theory research method,interview method and literature method,through the field observation of unit teaching in practice school and the collection of literature data such as unit overall teaching and assignment cases,so as to code the collected data in three levels and build the unit work goal and content design framework.Based on the research of grounded theory,the author discusses the design framework of primary school English unit work from the perspective of interview analysis and English core literacy.Firstly,in the process of English unit work design,teachers should start from the goal design of unit work,as well as grasp the design direction of unit work objectives and attach the importance to the rationality of goal writing on the basis of unit teaching goal,teaching material,learning level and curriculum standard.Then in the aspect of content design,English teachers should beproblem-oriented and clear in design ideas,and be able to design diversified unit works according to unit themes.English teachers should also strengthen the scientificity and rationality of unit assignment design and attach importance to the application of multiple evaluation through the joint discussion of teaching and research groups.Finally,the author tries to design three types of unit work according to the main idea of unit work and Shanghai Oxford English textbook for primary school.In a word,this paper has carried on the systematic research to the unit work design in the theory aspect in order to make English teachers design more scientific and reasonable unit works according to the common approaches and methods of unit work design.
