Research On The Image Of Otokokayu In The Takarazuka Revue Company

It has been over 100 years since the establishment of Takarazuka Revue Company in 1913.This is an art troupe with its own characteristics,while Otokokayu is a representative art performance on the stage of Takarazuka Revue Company.Therefore,the perspectives of gender performance,aesthetic acceptance and consumerism are taken as starting points of this paper,so as to analyze the performance model,theatrical style and interaction that are related to Otokokayu.In the beginning,it narrates the gender performance of Otokokayu.After reading some related references,the author obtained the basic theories of related issues,and then analyzed the acquired documents and information.The main purpose of this paper is to know the formation of Otokokayu based on the knowledge of the artistic image of Otokokayu on the stage and the social culture.It is expected to provide some useful information for the development of drama and the future research on takarazuka Revue Company in China.Meanwhile,it also adheres to the academic philosophy of theatre professionals and expects the public to take the "non-mainstream" drama phenomenon with tolerance and respect.
