Research On Calligraphic Style Of "Zhang Qian Stele"

By observing the Clerical Script Calligraphy Evolution and the comprehension on the historical background of forming the “Zhang Qian Stele” calligraphic style,this thesis mainly studied the characteristic of the “Zhang Qian Stele” from the aspects of the unique brushwork,the structure,the artistic rules of composition reflected the personality of freedom,and its massive and vigorous but artless childish calligraphy.Through discussing the background of how it formed the childish style,the thesis presented how the “Zhang Qian Stele” had gradually developed from the evolutionary ecology of the Chinese characters as a complete and independent research subject.The thesis makes an in-depth analysis of the brushwork,knots,chapters,and styles of the“Zhang Qian Stele”.It studies the characteristics of the pen and wave paintings of the“Zhang Qian Stele”;the methods of writing those solid and clumsy,simple but lush,and modest characteristics;from the ingenuity of the outline,space,center of gravity,and ambition to study.Finally,after this in-depth and meticulous analysis,the experience of the“Zhang Qian Stele” is realized so that the aesthetic patterns and creative ways can be extracted.The thesis specifically analyzed how the self-creation calligraphy was influenced by the calligraphy style of the“Zhang Qian Stele” and taken reference from other styles of the calligraphy which was trying to absorb more subtle nutrients,moving and improving the self-calligraphic ability.
