Mindfulness training is playing an important role in improving the mental health of healthy people.To investigate the effectiveness of 8-week and 7-day mindfulness training in regulating rumination and depression emotions,and exploring the moderating effect of rumination.44 Participants were randomized into mindfulness training group or waitlist group,and 39 of them completed the intervention(17 in mindfulness training group and 22 in waitlist control group).Participants in mindfulness training group received an 8-week mindfulness training while participants in waitlist control group received no intervention.17 Participants who completed the 8-week mindfulness training were randomized into 7-day mindfulness training group 9 participants and waitlist group 8 participants.All the participants were assessed with the Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire Questionnaire(FFMQ),Ruminative Response Scale of China(RRS-C),The Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale(CES-D)before and after intervention.: After 8-week mindfulness training,participants in mindfulness training group got higher scores of total FFMQ,acting with awareness and lower scores of total RRS-C,symptom rumination,brooding,reflective pondering,compared with waitlist control group;After 7-day mindfulness training,participants in mindfulness training group and waitlist control group didn't have significant differences on the scores of all the sacles;But participants in mindfulness training group got higher scores of natureand acceptanceof ideas in daily assessment.Conclusions:(1)8-week mindfulness training could improve participants' mindfulness,and the enhanced mindfulness levels caused by mindfulness training will play a very important role for the decrease of rumination and depressio emotions;(2)7-day mindfulness training could motivate individual idea of nature,reduce the intensity of negative thoughts and ascend idea acceptance in a short time;(3)The relationship of mindfulness and depressive was moderated by brooding;The relationship of nonjudging and depressive was moderated by brooding or reflective pondering.
