Research On Third-front Construction In Lanzhou(1964-1990)

As the provincial capital of Gansu,Lanzhou is an old industrial city and one of the important central cities in the Silk Road Economic Belt.This paper takes the Third-Front Construction and adjustment in Lanzhou as the research object,discusses the implementation process and key achievements of Third-Front Construction in Lanzhou,and studies the main purpose of the implementation of it.Guided by Marxist historical materialism,this paper takes traditional philology as the main research method,and combines the investigation method,analysis method and comparative method to analyze the implementation reasons,implementation situation development results,and various stages of Third-Front Construction and adjustment in Lanzhou and adjustment as comprehensively as possible.The research in this paper believes that Third-Front Construction in Lanzhou is divided into three stages.In the first stage,from 1964 to 1966,the state proposed the strategic layout and implementation of the Third-Front Construction in Lanzhou.The Lanzhou area responded to the national call and actively carried out planning and relocation of enterprises and institutions.The second stage,From 1966 to 1976,in the Cultural Revolution,Third-Front Construction in Lanzhou suffered a lot of resistance,but the military industry developed rapidly and made due contributions to the national defense force in the context of preparation.The third stage,from 1976 to1990,was based on the changes in the domestic and international situation,the Lanzhou area has undergone adjustment and transformation of Third-Front Construction,and the results of the "military transfer to the people" have been outstanding.Based on archival data and data comparison,Third-Front Construction and adjustment in Lanzhou have had a direct impact on Lanzhou's industrial city construction,national defense science and technology construction,urban economic level,military-civilian sharing technology,etc.,That made Lanzhou city became one of the central city of “One,belt,One road” initiative.
