| Bedtime procrastination refers to the behavior that individuals habitually postpone their scheduled bedtime while no external circumstances prevet them from doing so.With the vigorous development of China’s economy and network,the phenomenon of bedtime procrastination is becoming more and more common.People’s sleep time is gradually delayed,resulting in the increasingly prominent sleep problems.However,there is still a lack of psychological research on bedtime procrastination in China.Therefore,this study adopts the qualitative research method of grounded theory,and takes the answer text about the causes of bedtime procrastination on the "Zhihu" platform as the research material for qualitative analysis,excavates the factors that affect bedtime procrastination behavior,and explores the formation process of bedtime procrastination from the psychological perspective,so as to further enrich the psychological research in the field of bedtime procrastination in China.According to the results of qualitative research,three suggestions were put forward to improve bedtime procrastination.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)A theoretical model of the formation process of bedtime procrastination was constructed.It is found that the formation of bedtime procrastination mainly includes three processes: intention generation,behavior implementation and feedback loop.(2)The main factors affecting bedtime procrastination are physiology,psychology and environment.In the aspect of physiology,there are individual’s biological clock,in the aspect of psychology,there are individual’s self demand,cognition,self-control ability,etc.,in the aspect of environment,there are large Internet environment and social environment,as well as small people’s sleeping atmosphere,etc.The above three factors interact with each other,which together make bedtime procrastination behavior produce and maintain. |
