"Method" And "Event":A Study Of Koyasu Nobukuni's Methodology Of Literature

In the modern intellectual history of Japan,the possibility of thought is always an important issue which concerned by Japanese thinkers.The Black Ship event forced Japan to open its gate after cutting off its country from the outside world for more than two hundred years,two different thoughts that how to face west and east were produced in the background which Japanese thought was week while European thought was so strong.One was supported by Fukuzawa Yukichi,he held the ground that Japan's traditional thoughts should be rejected in order to follow Europe.The other is supported by Nitobe Inazo and Watsuji Tetsurou,they hoped to find a new way to revitalize in the considerable pressure of western thought.They argued with each other.At the same time,they needed to depend on each other.Even after the World War Two,representatives of the Japanese thinker like Maruyama Masao Takeuchi Yoshimi and Mizoguchi Yuzo were deep into the argument.However,one man called Koyasu Nobukuni rejudged the Japan's modern intellectual history by absorbing and criticizing French theory and German philosophy.In his opinion,in Japan's modern intellectual history even in contemporary history,the essential contradiction between departure from Asia for Europe and return to Asia is caused by duality of eastern and western thought.Influenced by this thought,Japan still deep into the Hegel's philosophy of history.He insisted to borrow French post-modern theory and Foucault's the archaeology of knowledge,“method” Asia by the method of “Event” in order to carry on and develop Japanese thought.The paper focuses on Koyasu Nobukuni ‘s criticism,discuss rich meaning of Koyasu Nobukuni's theory for discussing the possibility of Japan and China's theory.The paper has four chapter.Chapter one is the background of Koyasu Nobukuni's thought.Chapter two is Koyasu Nobukuni's criticism to Japanese thought represented by Maruyama Masao and Takeuchi Yoshimi.Chapter three is Takeuchi Yoshimi's deconstruction to Edo thought.Chapter four is Koyasu Nobukuni's thinking to the possibility of Asian and the author's summary to method.
