The outbreak of COVID-19 at the end of 2019 has brought online teaching to the public’s attention.As for teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the uncontrollable situation of COVID-19 indicates that the exploration of online teaching methods is imperative.In the post-epidemic era,we should still pay attention to online teaching research,break the regional restrictions,better conduct Chinese language teaching,and better spread Chinese culture.This paper focuses on the application of situational teaching method in the online teaching of comprehensive primary Chinese courses.Taking the "I Used to be an English Teacher" in "Developing Chinese · Comprehensive Primary Chinese"(ⅰ)as an example,the real situation is integrated into the online teaching to improve students’ communicative competence.The key problem to be solved in this paper is the application of situational teaching method in online teaching.Online teaching is different from offline classroom.Due to the change of space environment,online teaching is limited in local materials and setting up situations.Therefore,according to the arrangement of teaching objectives and teaching contents,we need to fully explore the application scope and advantages of situational teaching method in online classroom according to the characteristics of online teaching network environment,and adopt the way of combining virtual environment and real environment to naturally integrate situational teaching method into online classroom teaching.This paper will analyze the combination of situational teaching method and the online course of comprehensive Chinese as a foreign language,and design the teaching of comprehensive course according to the characteristics of 2020 undergraduate students in Henan University.We will also create different situations for different aspects to improve the teaching quality.This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,mainly introduces the reason and significance of the topic,the research status review,research program;The second chapter is the theoretical analysis of situational teaching method,mainly introduces the concept of situational teaching method,the theoretical basis of situational teaching method,the characteristics of situational teaching,the common methods of setting up situational teaching method and the advantages and feasibility analysis of situational teaching method applied to online teaching;Chapter three is the teaching design scheme of "I used to be an English Teacher",including the analysis of relevant elements of teaching design and specific teaching design;The fourth chapter is the teaching evaluation and reflection of the primary Chinese comprehensive course "I was an English Teacher";Finally,the conclusion part summarizes the application of situational teaching method in online primary Chinese comprehensive course.
