The Establishment Of Modern Education Mode Of Lacquer Art In Fujian

With the rapid development of lacquer industry in Fujian province from 1950 s,the early model of "master and apprentice system" could not meet the needs of talent training.The collegiate system,a new education model,was introduced,which changed the single "master with apprentice system" limited to the family or workshop and made talent cultivation more systematic.During this period,specialized colleges and universities cultivated a large number of elites who drove the development of the industry.Based on the background of The Times,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the creation and development of lacquer art education in Fuzhou Polytechnic College,from the aspects of school-running philosophy,teaching mode,teaching plan,course content,teacher structure and talent cultivation.By putting it in the context of the vicissitude of contemporary arts and crafts education,this paper made an in-depth analysis of its due status,contribution and the limitations.And through investigating a local case study,this paper aims to illustrate the gains and losses of lacquer art education in China and to provide a reference point for further research.
