A Story Of Ruins

With the rapid development of Chinese society,the pace of urbanization is accelerating,and the appearance of our city is also in a fast and constantly changing process.Walking in today's cities,we often see demolition ruins juxtaposed with new high-rise buildings and commercial centers.While the transformation of the old city changed the face of the city,it also changed the emotions and hearts of urban residents.While living in a new home,residents may also be forced to leave familiar neighborhoods that they have lived in for many years,and for many years.The ruins produced during the demolition tell about the lives of families once.Today,these demolition ruins have also become the object of attention of many artists,and artists have created a lot of works around the ruins generated by demolition in different ways.Through these creations,various aspects of our urbanization and demolition are presented.This thesis hopes to carry out a study on these works of art surrounding the "relocation of ruins".The dissertation first briefly expounds the historical background and main expressions of China's urbanization,and makes a brief analysis of the resulting "demolition ruins",then sorts out and classifies the creations around the "demolition ruins",and selects case studies.A detailed analysis is carried out,and its artistic characteristics and significance are discussed.At the end of the thesis,through the introduction of the author's own "demolition ruins" creation,the related issues are discussed further.
