The purpose of this study is to explore the music teaching activities in bailudong academy in the southern song dynasty,and to explore the role of music teaching in the academy from the perspective of its daily teaching activities.In order to solve this problem,this study,based on the methods of philology,supplemented by the methods of history and comparative studies,tries to clarify the characteristics of the music teaching activities of the bailutong academy and its significance in the southern song dynasty.Chose white deer cave academy rather than any other college,is due to the white deer cave academy's own development path more twists and turns,from the early stages of the academy was built to eventually become a typical college has experienced three stages,respectively is the five dynasties south down the authority of the nature of lushan mountain China,the northern song dynasty period of authority to is composed of white deer classics,the southern song dynasty is to get rid of official ills becoming a master academy of white deer cave academy.In the process of the three white deer cave academy not only completed the changing nature of the teaching,also realized its change teaching idea,get rid of the only in the authority to comply with the imperial examinations and the disadvantages of the teaching in the common culture of song dynasty when the inverse trend,restore ancient ways to follow the legacy of Confucian sages realized not only teaching but also education education concept.During the three hundred years of the reign of the zhao and song dynasties,only the southern song dynasty was chosen,because at that time,the bailutong academy had completed the early development and the middle transition,and had become a world-renowned academy model in the academic exchanges of neo-confucianism and xinology represented by Zhu xi and Lu jiuyuan.This study is divided into three parts to elaborate on the music teaching activities in bailudong academy in the southern song dynasty.The first part explores the origin of the predecessor of bailudong academy.Through sorting out the development process of bailudong academy,we can see the changes in the nature of the academy and the changes in music teaching activities.The second part is the main part of this study,which attempts to restore the real situation of music teaching activities in bailudong academy during the southern song dynasty and summarize the characteristics.From the perspective of the reality of music teaching activities,this paper expounds the situation of music teaching activities in academies and summarizes the characteristics of music teaching activities.The third part explores the significance and influence of the music teaching activities in bailudong academy in the southern Song dynasty.
