Games are widely used in the English Teaching of the junior primary school.In various forms of teaching,games are the most attractive one.It has a good effect on enhancing students' interest in learning English and mobilizing their subjective initiative.The use of game teaching in the classroom can attract students' attention,make them better participate in the classroom,and actively learn relevant knowledge.In addition,in the process of participating in the game,through cooperation with other students,improve students' ability to use English.However,there are still many deficiencies in the current game teaching practice,and there is room for improvement.After improvement,it can play a better role.This study mainly discusses from three aspects.First of all,the game teaching related theoretical research.Through the collection and analysis of literature,we can understand the relevant theories of game teaching at home and abroad,and deepen the understanding of game teaching.Secondly,through interviews with relevant teachers,questionnaire survey of students,observation of classroom teaching in practice and other ways to analyze and understand the actual application of the status quo.It is found that the following problems exist in the current English game teaching in the lower grades of primary schools: Teachers' lack of awareness and ability of game teaching;game design is not targeted;classroom rules are not clear,and reward and punishment measures are unreasonable.Finally,according to the above problems,from the perspective of how to better integrate the game teaching into the classroom,the relevant countermeasures are studied.The author gives suggestions from the organizer,classroom rules,design,network resources and other aspects,and puts forward the following countermeasures: teachers need to improve their awareness and ability when using game teaching,conceive and design games with high feasibility,and formulate clear and specific classroom rules.In this way,we believe that we can provide scientific and referential opinions for the primary school English classroom teaching combined with games,and then improve the effect of games in the primary school English teaching.
