Latin dance is a kind of sports dance,now with its unique charm popular around the world,not only by adults love and chase after,children are also widely involved in it.As a performance skill in Latin dance,the spiral movement can improve the variety and continuity of Latin dance movements.It is the foundation and essential link of Latin dance,and also one of the important techniques to reflect the level of dancers.Research objective: this paper aims to apply the current popular core strength training method to the daily learning and training of Latin dance students through experimental research.This paper discusses the influence of core strength training on the stability of Latin dance students’ helical movement,and provides theoretical and practical basis for the formulation and implementation of scientific training program of Latin dance helical movement.Research significance: Latin dance is a kind of dance that attaches great importance to movement skills.The high quality spiral movement can realize the smooth link of each skill movement and enhance the beauty and difficulty of the work.The dancers show the motor skills of Latin dance better through the steady spiral movement.Therefore,for Latin dance,the mastery degree of spiral movement skills is one of the important indicators to measure the quality and competitiveness of dance.This study through the core strength training,to solve the current Latin dance special students turn spiral movement process,the center of gravity be unsteady,control ability is poor,and poor mobility,turn for Latin dance spiral movement training to provide a new thought of practice,turn for Latin dance spiral movement to provide reference and basis for teaching and training,has a certain practical significance.Research methods: this study adopts the methods of literature,experiment,mathematical analysis and interview.Through consulting literature and visiting experts,the author understood the status quo of Latin dance helical movement and the application of core strength training,and formulated the scoring criteria for the stability of Latin dance helical movement.Experimental intervention was conducted on 28 students of Hebei xiuyang dance training school.The 28 students wererandomly divided into experimental group and control group,and there was no difference in FMS score after grouping.The experimental group received core strength training,and the control group received traditional strength training.Results:(1)comparison of FMS scores before and after the experiment: all FMS test scores in the experimental group were significantly improved(P<0.01).The scores of the control group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).(2)the displacement of z-axis and Y-axis weight center of the body before and after the experiment: there was a significant difference(P<0.05)after the intervention of core strength training in the experimental group,indicating that the displacement data of z-axis and Y-axis weight center became smaller after core strength training.There was no significant difference in the control group.However,there was a significant difference between the control group and the experimental group(P<0.05).(3)comparison of hip joint angular velocity before and after the experiment: there was a significant difference in the experimental group(P<0.05),indicating that the hip joint angular velocity improved significantly after core strength training.There was no significant difference in the control group.However,there were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).(4)comparison of IEMG before and after the experiment: IEMG of rectus abdominis,erector spine,gluteus maximus and biceps femoris in the experimental group was significantly improved(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in quadriceps femoris.IEMG of gluteus maximus and biceps femoris in the control group was significantly different(P<0.05),but IEMG of gluteus maximus and biceps femoris in the control group was lower than that in the experimental group(P<0.05).However,there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).(5)develop an expert rating scale for the stability of helical rotation with good reliability and validity.The scale was used to score the stability of the spiral motion of the subjects,and the mean value of the experimental group was 2.72 points higher than that of the control group after intervention.The scores before and after were significantly different(P<0.05),indicating that the scale could objectively reflect the quality of spiral rotation.In addition,the scoring scale can effectively determine the stability of the spiralmovement in Latin dance teaching and training.Conclusions:(1)core strength training can improve the performance of Latin dance students in FMS screening.(2)core strength training can improve the activation degree of the core muscles of Latin dance students in the spiral movement,reduce the movement amplitude of the center of gravity in each axis,improve the stability of the center of gravity,and improve the movement control.(3)core strength training can accelerate the rotation speed,improve the movement ability and enhance the performance of Latin dance students in the process of completing movements.(4)the subjective scoring evaluation table designed by this research can objectively evaluate the stability of spiral motion.
